Whoever doesn’t enrich, becomes poor, part 2

WHOEVER DOESN’T ENRICH, BECOMES POOR

Part 2

Here are some steps I consider helpful so that God always takes us to increase:

LIVE REAL

Recognize what you have and what you don’t have.

Appreciate and also work with the gifts the Creator has given you.

Do not try to imitate others. The Lord desires and expects that you enrich the little piece of earth He has entrusted you with in this small portion of time that represents your life.

You are important and you have the same value everyone else has in spite of your talents.

LIVE CONTENT

15 All the days of the afflicted are evil, But he who is of a merry heart has a continual feast. 16 Better is a little with the fear of the Lord, than great treasure with trouble. 17 Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, Than a fatted calf with hatred. Proverbs 15:15-17 (NKJV)

Being content will bring a life full of gratitude because of what we have. It will encourage us to keep making the effort to multiply our talents at home or our job; while enjoying ourselves as if we lived in a continual feast.

Being content is not the same as being satisfied, which tends to produce laziness. We should live content, but always desire to grow in all areas of our lives. Satisfied… never; content… always!

Think about it:

How have you been enriching the portion God has entrusted you with?

Today, is there something you can thank God and those who surround you for?

To be continued…
