DIRECT YOUR DARK QUESTIONS TO GOD, NOT TO MEN
Darkness represents those situations where there is crisis, shadows and where it is difficult to understand what people are experiencing.
When we find ourselves in painful moments of life it is normal to ask questions. Why is this happening? Why is this happening to me? Where are you God?
God does not get angry with us when we go through times of confusion, such as the pain of losing a loved one.
We have to be careful and direct our difficult questions unto God and not to men. Frequently, we try to quickly answer questions, “Don’t worry everything is going to be okay. God wanted it to be this way, He is in control. Maybe you did something wrong and that is why this is happening to you. Etc.” Although, many times these answers or comments do not help us; instead they depress our soul.
When Jesus Christ was on the cross about to die, he did not ask any questions to the soldiers nor his disciples or mother;instead he went directly to the Heavenly Father and asked Him, “Why have you forsaken me?
Only God can understand you in the darkest times of your life. Only He can understand the pain of losing your health, a family member, the tragedy of a divorce, the absence of a son or father, the loss of your life savings.
When you are going through difficulties direct your questions to God and not to men.
Think about it:
Have you been going through a crisis in your life? Who have you directed your questions to, God or men?
Take time to go to God and ask Him your questions and expect the peace that surpasses your understanding.
