HOW DO YOU BECOME IMPORTANT
For Mordecai the Jew was second to King Ahasuerus, and was great among the Jews and well received… seeking the good of his people and speaking peace to all his countrymen. Esther 10:3 NKJV
Mordecai came to be the second in command after the king. He was a great man amongst the Jews. How can you become a great and important person?
1. He was an important man.
Something or someone becomes important when they add value to others through their life and through what they know and do.
A man is important to his family when he adds value by being a good husband and father; providing the material and emotional needs at home, protecting and affirming his wife and children.
2. He was highly esteemed.
There are people that are only remembered when they die; but there are others that are missed when they leave the world.
The first ones live to accumulate and the second ones live to give. The first ones have an attitude that says, “Life owes me”, but the second ones think, “What can I give to my generation?”
The second ones leave a positive mark in others and they enrich those who surround them while they are on earth giving love, time, goods, service, etc.
3. He pursued the well-being and peace of the people.
Did you notice the reason as to why he became important?
He lived in a way where he defended his compatriots’ well-being and peace.
You become more valuable in society and before God when you become someone who that is part of the solution and not the problems.
This city will never be the same, because thousands of members from Eagles CFC and other congregations have worked for the peace in families here in Las Vegas. We have restored thousands of young people and adults, single people and marriages, we have prayed for multitudes of sick people that have been healed and we have saved millions of dollars for our authorities by transforming lives.
