Talk to God when your mind is alert

TALK TO GOD WHEN YOUR MIND IS ALERT

Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Colossians 4:2 NLT

1. You must have a daily date with God. He never fails. He has important things to talk to you about every day.

2. This time should be your best time, when your mind is still alert.

When you pray in the middle of the night after doing a thousand things related to work, kids, church, school and laundry; and after using the last amount of your energy to watch two hours of television, usually you’re exhausted, you pray only to help yourself fall asleep and your mind is not alert.

For some, this would be a good time to talk to God, but not to hear God.

Every person is different and the best time to pray depends on their life style and job.

You can pray in different ways and at different times of the day, but one of those will be the most productive; kind of like your “main course.”

In conclusion, pray with an open mind. Pray with a grateful heart. Find a time where you can give God the best and where you can hear Him with an alert mind.

When do you think is the best time for you to pray in peace and alert?
