THREE REASONS FOR YOUR EXISTENCE
Human beings are born with a need to discover the reason for their existence. The Bible gives us the light to understand the reason as to why we were born.
1. You were created to know and love God.
You were made in the image of God. What makes you different from the animals is that you have the ability to love the Creator, because you were made in His image and He is love.
You will never see a church full of bulls or cows worshipping, singing and serving God. You will see people with rationale who use their bodies to sing and worship the living God.
2. You were created to be part of God’s family.
God wants to have a family.
We all need a spiritual family; and it is through Jesus Christ we become part of the Lord’s family (Ephesians 2:19). Have you given your life to Jesus?
3. You were created to serve God.
You cannot serve God directly while you are on earth. So, how do we do it? We serve God through loving and serving other people.
Once you understand this, all stress is eliminated from your life, you don’t worry as much and it gives you purpose to get up motivated every morning.
Think about it:
Have you ever asked yourself, why do I exist?
Are you part of God’s family? In which area are you serving the family of Christ?
