CHOOSE YOUR CONVERSATIONS
There are unproductive and useless conversations.
There are conversations that are neither good or bad, they’re just unnecessary.
There are good and productive conversations.
The good news is that you can choose which conversations to participate in.
You choose if you want to be known as the class clown or the diligent student. It’s your choice to be known as the funny one who gets into frequent trouble and that has the lowest grades, or as the wise one who knows how to associate with others, yet is a productive person on earth.
You should choose conversations that will add value to you and to the others who surround you.
Do not be afraid to discard or redirect a conversation that will only cause you to waste your time with gossip; or, that will steal your peace, cause you to be angry, sad or sob. Instead, talk about things that will produce peace, love, joy, faith, hope and big dreams in God.
Avoid worthless, foolish talk that only leads to more godless behavior. This kind of talk spreads like cancer. 2 Timothy 2:16-17 NLT
Think about it:
Lately, in what kind of conversations have you been participating?
Do your conversations add value unto others or do they bring you peace and joy?
