GOD IS NOT THE ORIGIN OF YOUR FEARS
Fear paralyzes you.
Timidity steals your opportunities.
Fear enslaves you and causes you to live at the mercy of whom intimidates you.
Where do fears and timidity come from?
The first thing I would like to clarify is that God is not the origin of your fears. They might be the result of bad experiences like the abuse that you suffered, the culture you were raised in, the example of timidity you saw in one of your parents, because they never dared to do much in life due to their fear of failure and because they were afraid of what others would say. Fear can also be the result of mistakes that we personally made.
There might be a hundred reasons as to why there’s fear in your life, but God is not the one who causes you to fear, because He is love and “perfect love casts out all fear”.
What has God given you?
A spirit of power. You can do all things in Christ.
A spirit of love. There is no fear in love.
A spirit of self-discipline. You can develop temperance and self-control because God has already given it to you.

What fear do you need to confront with power, love and self-control?
