LOVE NEVER FAILS
“Love is patient, love is kind… it isn’t arrogant, 5 … it isn’t irritable, it doesn’t keep a record of complaints…7 Love puts up with all things, trusts in all things, hopes for all things… 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.
We are getting closer to the day true love was born. Every year, there are parties, announcements on the radio and all around the world celebrating Christmas, but unfortunately, they do not invite the birthday person.
This year, give Jesus the best birthday by showing his love through the following attitudes:
1. Patience. It is the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
The best things are always reached when we wait.
Do not push something that already has its due time.
2. Do not be arrogant. The person who truly loves, does not have superiority.
Be humble and honor others as if they were more important than you.
3. Do not be irritable. Being irritable indicates that there is hidden selfishness and insecurity.
If you walk under the influence of love, you will be a source of joy instead of frustration.
4. Forgiveness.
We have failed God an infinite amount of times, yet He has always dealt with our faults and His love has covered our sins.
Imitate the true love that forgives it all and forgive those who have offended you.
8Love never fails… 1 Corinthians 13:8 NIV
Let’s love one another this Christmas and make God (whom is love) happy.
Time to Reflect:
Choose and attitude you will intentionally practice.
How can you use patience and forgiveness to love someone?
How can you share the love of Christ with a person that does not know him?
