What kind of land are you?

WHAT KIND OF LAND ARE YOU?

Millions of people hear the same thing, but they don’t do the same thing with what they hear. Many go through the world being average, while others are fruitful and productive. God has called us to be doers of His Word, not only hearers.

And the seeds that fell on the good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God’s word, cling to it, and patiently produce a huge harvest. Luke 8:15 NLT

The Bible tells us the farmer’s parable, which helps us identify four kinds of people.

1. THE CLUELESS.
The seeds that are scattered on the footpath represent those who hear the message, but the devil comes, snatches it from their heart and stops them from believing and being saved.

2. THE WEAK AND EMOTIONALISTS.
The seeds that are among the rocks, represent those who hear and receive the message with joy, but since they do not have deep roots, they believe for some time and then they depart when they are faced with temptation.

3. THE IMMATURE.
The seeds that fall among thorns represent those who hear the message, but soon the Word is replaced with worries, wealth, and the pleasures of life. Therefore, these individuals never mature.

4. THE FRUITFUL AND MATURE.
The seeds that are scattered on good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God’s Word, cling to it, and patiently produce a huge harvest.

Reflection:

What kind of land are you?
Are you producing excuses that paralyze you or actions that expand the Kingdom of God?
