WHAT TO DO WHEN PEOPLE DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO YOU
Sometimes we get frustrated with people who do not understand our lifestyle. These individuals make fun of us, because we are always at a House of Peace or at church serving others, and they are surprised because our jokes are no longer vulgar.
There are three things you can do:
1. Remain relevant.
Although, you have been Christian for a long time, stay away from theological words and do not be religious. You must know how to communicate God’s truth to Christians and non-Christians.
You should have practical solutions. Remain sensitive towards others’ every day needs so you can connect with those who do not go to church.
2. Love them, even when they do not understand you.
Christ first loved the thieves, the prostitutes and the wrong doers; then they were all saved.
3. Let the Holy Spirit do his job.
Love these people and explain things to them in a relevant and practical way.
Eventually, the Holy Spirit will remove the veil from their eyes, just as he did with you; then they will see the same point of view.
