WHO CAN YOU TRUST?
It is hard to find a person that you can completely trust, especially when it feels like you’re going through difficult times in your life; but God allows us to face battles, so that we learn to trust in Him.
What do you think about the following expressions?
3 Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there.
5 But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper… He keeps every promise forever.
7 He gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry. The Lord frees the prisoners. The Lord loves the godly.
9 The Lord protects the foreigners among us. He cares for the orphans and widows… he frustrates the plans of the wicked (Psalm 146:3-10 NLT).
These declarations were made by a man that had gone through many problems, someone that was highly responsible for others, and who knew God. His name was David.
In this Christmas time, learn to depend on God, express His Word just as King David did, and you will see that you too can obtain the victory by declaring your trust in the Lord.
Think about it:
Where have you put your trust, in men or in the Almighty?
Lately, what have you been expressing? Victory or defeat?
