ALL OF YOUR CHOICES COUNT
“Abraham didn’t get blessed once he became old, but he reached an old age while being blessed.”
You can reach the end of your life blessed or like a failure. Nevertheless, that is determined once you become an adult or get to an old age. Every choice you make will either help you advance into a better future, or advance into becoming an average person who lives the second phase of their life in spiritual mediocrity and failure in your family.
How will your life be five, ten or twenty years from now? Will you be an educated person? Will your family be healthy? Will you be successful in your spiritual, family, social and financial life?
Some will be different tomorrow, because today they have decided to read their Bible, because they have chosen to pray on a daily basis, to read the book of the month, serve their spiritual family in their house of peace, exercise three times a week and eat healthier. What steps will you take today?
Again, I repeat, God didn’t bless Abraham when he was old, instead he reached an old age while being blessed, because of the choices he made. He obeyed, even when he didn’t understand why he had to leave his land and offer his first-born son. There are things that you also have to let go of so that the Lord can fulfill His promises, but stop questioning Him; even when you don’t understand, do it.
Think about it:
What instructions is God giving you today? What do you need to do this week to make them happen?
What land do you have to leave to enter the promised land? Have you allowed a lack of understanding to stop you from obeying the Lord?
