Be encouraged, you’re not alone

BE ENCOURAGED, YOU’RE NOT ALONE

Nevertheless, I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. John 16:7 KJV

Jesus affirms that you will never be alone. The Holy Spirit has been sent to comfort, guide, strengthen and encourage you to keep going forward in your marriage, job and with your studies.

Some people see problems like it’s the end of the world, but pain is temporary; sickness, poverty, afflictions in marriage or with your children will not last forever. If you trust in God, eventually He will take care of your problems. Be encouraged, you’re not alone.

God promises that behind every storm there is a sunshine, that at the end of an affliction there is a blessing that will glorify Him. The crisis you’re going through cannot be compared to the blessing that is about to be manifested (2 Corinthians 4:17).

Personally, I am very grateful for the Holy Spirit’s help in a world full of challenges, uncertainties, social issues, trials and disappointments. The only way I can preserve my peace is by trusting in the Holy Spirit’s help.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33 NLT

Jesus took advantage during a crisis and rested, while the disciples lost control of the boat they were navigating. They were afflicted because they thought they were going to die.

This is not about sleeping during a crisis, but about God giving you the wisdom to come out of the storm, which then gives you rest (Matthew 8:24-26). The Lord is greater than your storm. Be encouraged, you’re not alone.

Think about it:

What situation is burdening your heart?
What can you learn from Jesus during the storm?
How can you take advantage of the situation you’re going through?
