REMEMBER WHAT HE SAID
Then they remembered that he had said this. Luke 24:8 NLT
In this life, full of daily pressures, it is easy to fall into the traps of caressing the painful, negative, and disturbing memories.
It is necessary to train ourselves to resist the tragic memories in order to think about what is good and pleasing.
- Learn to constantly remember the promises in the Word of God:
- If sickness comes along, remember that He has healed all your diseases (Psalm 103:3).
- When it seems like money is scarce, remember that God is your shepherd and you will never lack (Psalm 23:1).
- If you feel desperate or depressed, it is imperative to remember that Jesus said: Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).
- When you start to feel alone, remember that He said: I am with you always, even unto the end of the world (Matthew 28:20).
- If you are feeling scared because of an exam at school, a business project or due to challenges in your family, then you must remember, believe, and repeat: For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength (Philippians 4:13).
It doesn’t matter what difficult situation or circumstance you’re going through, all you need to do is remember what God said.
Think about it:
What has God told you? What has He promised you?
Have you formed enough endurance to fight for the Lord’s dreams in your life?
