Until the door opens

UNTIL THE DOOR OPENS

“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. Luke 11:9-10

There are many doors that still haven’t been opened, not because they cannot be opened, but because many haven’t knocked the door until it opens.

The enemy uses discouragement as a trap to capture the weak. Nevertheless, the children of God, are violent and determined causing the Kingdom of Heaven to suffer violence because they are taking their blessings by force (Matthew 11:12).

How to open the door to your blessings?

1. ASK UNASHAMED (Luke 11:5-9)
When you are asking for something in prayer, you have to insist until you badger (Luke 11:5-8).
If you have dreams in your life and believe that your dreams are from God, then you shouldn’t grow tired of asking.

2. SEEK WHILE YOU ASK (Luke 11:9)
When the Bible says that you need to seek, this means that you have to move towards what you desire. This refers to taking action, not only to asking for something. The Lord blesses your prayer, but He also blesses the work of your hands.

3. KNOCK UNTIL THE DOOR OPENS (Luke 11:9)
Persist until you get your breakthrough. It’s like knocking a door until it falls over and you obtain your request (Psalm 88:9).
Many petitions were written on paper, but they ended up in the trash because of people who grew tired of asking, seeking and insisting. You have to keep seeking Him, while He can still be found. Come on! He will not reject you, He simply wants to develop your spiritual endurance.

Think about it:

What door should you keep knocking that still hasn’t been opened?
What have you done to move and seek as you pray to God?
