You will lose what you don’t multiply

YOU WILL LOSE WHAT YOU DON’T MULTIPLY

“After he was crowned king, he returned and called in the servants to whom he had given the money. He wanted to find out what their profits were. Luke 19:15 NLT

There are three types of people. First, the leaders that make things happen. Second, the passive that only see what’s happening, Third, the clueless who don’t even know what’s happening. Nevertheless, there are also two kinds of other individuals: those who lose the little they have and those who have much and gain more each time.

One day we will have to be accountable about what we did with the resources God entrusted us. The gifts and abilities that we have are to be used to do something good while we pass along this earth.

I don’t believe in good luck, but I know that there are rewards from the Lord for those who are faithful, loyal, committed and hard working in their purpose.

The first servant reported, ‘Master, I invested your money and made ten times the original amount!’ “‘Well done!’ the king exclaimed. ‘You are a good servant. You have been faithful with the little I entrusted to you, so you will be governor of ten cities as your reward.’ Luke 19:16-17 NLT
“But the third servant brought back only the original amount of money and said, ‘Master, I hid your money… I was afraid… “You wicked servant!’ the king roared… “Then… the king ordered, ‘Take the money from this servant, and give it to the one who has ten pounds.”  Luke 19:20-24 NLT

Those who do not dare to do something with the little they have, because of fear, will end up losing everything. This is not “bad luck” it’s simply bad administration and indifference. One of the consequences of not being a good administrator is that someone else receives the blessing that was supposed to be yours.

Think about it:

How are you using your gifts, abilities, and talents?
Do you use a budget to manage your finances?
Are you helping others or do you only live for yourself?
