TIPS FROM THE HEROES OF FAITH
This passage says that those who have achieved great things in God, have given us a testimony to follow, and in it we find three tips that will help us follow their example:
1. We must strip off all the emotional weight that sometimes stop us from fulfilling our purpose and to be who God has designed us to be.
2. We must understand that sin can be a hindrance.
Sometimes, sin feels good in the moment, but it also makes us trip because it gets us into problems that ruin our identity, reputation, family, and finances.
3. We must have patience. Life is not like running the 100-meter dash, but like running a20-mile marathon.
We have to exercise our patience and the faith the great heroes had, so that we also reach great things in the Lord.
Think about it:
What things do you have to strip yourself from in order to run the good race of faith?
What is stealing your energy in life?
