WITH EVERYTHING AND YOUR FAMILY
Satan will try to stop you from serving with your family, for he knows that a united family is powerful. Families who serve God, work as a team to expand the Kingdom.
The family is the nucleus that shapes people with principles and foundations to impact a society, a nation, and the entire world, for better or for worst. Therefore, the enemy will do whatever he can to separate all families.
What did the Pharaoh do to try to divide the Israel families?
1. First, he enslaved them with work so that they wouldn’t have time to serve God. Exodus 5:8-9
There are times when excessive work can consume us so much to the point that we neglect our first ministry, which is our family. Don’t allow pressure at work (the pharaoh) to stop you from serving and investing in your family.
2. Go, but not too far. There is one foot in the church and another one in the world. Exodus 8:25, 28
Those who don’t go too far, go to church one Sunday and they miss the next Sunday, but there are some that simply don’t get too close to the Lord.
3. Go, but without your children. Exodus 10:11
Finally, the Pharaoh lets them go, but by themselves because he wanted to isolate the family members. When each integrate in the family is in their own world, one watching television, another one in their room while one is sleeping, then it’s easier for each of them to fall into the enemy’s trap; which is to destroy the unity at home.
4. Go without your flock. Exodus 10:24-26
Finally, he allows them to leave with their families, but without any wealth. The devil has come to steal, kill, and destroy. He wants to steal your financial blessing through debts, religion and through the fear of tithing.
5. God’s will.
His will is that we be set free from slavery, that we serve as a family without leaving anything behind and that we recover the wealth we have lost as a family.
Serve the Lord with everything and your family.
