Do you want to beat about the bush or get to the point?

DO YOU WANT TO BEAT ABOUT THE BUSH OR GET TO THE POINT?

17 When Pharaoh finally let the people go, God did not lead them along the main road that runs through Philistine territory, even though that was the shortest route to the Promised Land. God said, “If the people are faced with a battle, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.” 18 So God led them in a roundabout way through the wilderness toward the Red Sea. Thus the Israelites left Egypt like an army ready for battle. Exodus 13:17-18 NLT

Do you want to beat about the bush for forty years or do you want to take the short route where you might face giants, but where you’ll also overcome them with God? If you want to take the short route you need to grab the right GPS, the Word of God, and it will show you the shortest route to the promised land.
Don’t let your process to the promised land be longer than it must be because of a slave mentality. You need to let go of fear or whatever is slowing you down in order to accelerate the Lord’s purpose in you and your family.

1. DECIDE TO PUT GOD FIRST IN YOUR LIFE.
Every area you choose to put God first will be blessed. If you want a blessed home full of peace, you need to establish the Lord in your family as number one. If you long to have healthy finances and stable savings, you have to put God first and He will bless the rest of your money.

2. DECIDE WHERE YOU WANT TO GO.
Make up your mind and choose the place you want to get to. Do not be indecisive anymore, make a budget, plan, and save for your kids’ future, graduate the School of Success here at Eagles CFC. Where do you want to go? Stop waiting for your life to happen by itself, take the initiative and decide how far you want to get in life. Choose your destiny.

3. DECIDE NOT TO FEAR.
You will have gigantic problems in life, but Psalms 23 says: 1 The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. 2 He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.3 He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths… Do not be afraid; God is with you.
Taking the short route requires the Lord’s presence, because their will be Philistines and enemies. You will need Christ in your heart and his strength to go through these trials. But, make up your mind. He will take care of you.

Think about it:

How do you feel in your walk with God? Are you beating about the bush or not?
What decisions do you have to make to take the short route and reach the promised land?
