Make the bad things work for good

MAKE THE BAD THINGS WORK FOR GOOD

But Saul was going everywhere to destroy the church. He went from house to house, dragging out both men and women to throw them into prison. Acts 8:3 NLT

The first Christians suffered persecution to the point they were taken from their homes and sent to jail, but they chose to use their suffering to expand the church of Jesus and to proclaim the message of hope to even more people in the world.

But the believers who were scattered preached the Good News about Jesus wherever they went. Acts 8:4 NLT

When you go through hardships, think about how you can use them to give hope and peace to others who may be going through the same situation. Your suffering is not in vain, what the enemy wanted to use to destroy you, God in His grace, can use it to build you up and make it work for your own good.

Do not get depressed nor discouraged when you lose something or someone. After all, who better than you to understand and pray for another person that is going through the same pain, divorce, or loss that you might have gone through? Do not let your guard down and don’t let the enemy get away with his schemes. Look at the example of Jesus when he was crucified. He had to die in order to save us and give us eternal life, and he resurrected on the third day because he overcame death.

Just as Jesus overcame, you too are an overcomer. His passion for us surpassed his momentary pain and it worked for our good. As long as you are in this world, problems will not end, on the other hand, you are still able to rise and make your suffering work for good in your life and in the lives of others.

Think about it:

How can you help others with your experiences?
What situation are you going through right now that can serve as a testimony for someone else?
