Putting our Faith in God

PUTTING OUR FAITH IN GOD

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:23-24 KJV

Having faith does not mean we have faith in God. There are people who say, “It doesn’t matter where you put your faith as long you have faith in something or someone”. Some people put their faith in their intellect, in a person, or in a business. However, we should put our faith in the Lord whom will never be taken away from us and who truly will give us eternal benefits.

1. OUR FAITH MUST BE IN GOD
Putting our trust in God make us blessed and diligent people that can live in peace because of our faith. We can be calm because we know that the answer to our problems comes from Him (Psalms 34:8).

2. OUR FAITH MUST BE LIKE THE MUSTARD SEED. Luke 17:5-6
Our chances to reaching what we long for might be few; but, if we put one of those chances in God’s hands, we will see how our vision expands and how it benefits many people.

3. HOW CAN YOU INCREASE YOU FAITH? Romans 10:17
As children, God wants us to have abundance in the material things just as much as in the spiritual things. Within these abundances, science, technology, and God’s grace can be accompanied by faith.

4. FAITH IS LIKE BEING IN THE FUTURE.
This is how faith works: you believe in what God has promised you and trust Him just as Caleb and Joshua did, because you can already see a bright future. In the Word, God has shown us where He wants to take us, we just have to trust that He will bring it to pass.

Think about it:

How much faith do you have today to receive the Lord’s blessings?
What step can you take this week to increase your faith?
