The power of favor

THE POWER OF FAVOR

When his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord gave him success in everything he did, Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned. Genesis 39:3-4

Favor can be described as the love of God that causes people to like you, that makes them trust you and support your projects. Some individuals are still making the wrong turns in life because they do not have God’s favor, and they think others who are prosperous simply have “good luck”.

The benefits of having the Father’s favor over your life:

1. IT OPENS DIFFERENT DOORS (Genesis 39:4)
The Bible tells the story of a young man named Joseph, he was sold by his brothers to be a slave in Egypt. Despite the circumstances, he counted on God’s favor, because while other slaves were taken to clean, he was taken to a palace to become a steward. Why? Because the Lord was with him.

2. IT RELEASES THE BLESSINGS THAT YOU HAVE BEEN EXPECTING (Psalms 5:11-12)
Someone who has God’s favor knows how to patiently wait on His promises. It’s noticeable when someone has His grace, because everything they do is prospered. This was the example Joseph set, wherever he went he became a blessing (Genesis 39:21-22).

3. EVERYTHING WE TOUCH IS PROSPERED (Genesis 39:3)
Prosperity is a promise from God for your life. Once you understand that you can count on the Father’s favor, eventually everything your hands touch will be multiplied (Deuteronomy 33:11).

There will always be someone who sees God’s favor over you, your job, and your business and they will want to interrupt your prosperity. Nevertheless, you must trust in the Lord and remember that everything He allows you to go through is only to lead you to your destiny (Jeremiah 29:11).

Think about it:

How can you acquire God’s favor?
Why do you need the Father’s divine favor?
