Jesus: the way, truth and life

JESUS: THE WAY, TRUTH AND LIFE

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6 NIV).

We human beings by nature are seeking the truth, the right way and a fulfilled life. This is the reason as to why so many religions, sects, doctrines, beliefs and different philosophies exist, and why they claim to be the truth. All these different beliefs teach and display what every person needs in order to have a successful life on earth.

However, the way towards God cannot be traced nor reached through religion, beliefs, rituals knowledge, traditions, human strength or through good deeds. Instead, God has already traced the way that leads one to the truth within his infinite love and mercy, and He did it through His son Jesus Christ when he died for all humanity. He is the only path that will take us to the truth, and His is the only One who can give us life.

1. Jesus is the way.
Jesus is not only a way, but the way to the Heavenly Father. Mankind has been completely ruined in sin, but through the death of Jesus on the cross, we can all access God.

Jesus is the path that leads us to the answers that will solve our problems; yet those who already know Him must make sure they are steadfast on His path, and that He has truly become the only path that will lead them to their solutions, healing and blessings.

2. Jesus is the truth.
Are you believing God’s truth or the devil’s lies? Examine your life. Are your decisions based on the truth revealed in God’s Word, or are they based on what the news on television says, or on what your friends and family tell you?

The devil is the father of lies and Jesus Christ came to undo and dissolve his lies in the Truth. Nevertheless, there are people who seek the answers to their future in witches, fortune telling, the horoscope, education and science, but the only One who can give them the true answers is Jesus Christ.

3. Jesus is life.
Jesus doesn’t only offer eternal life, but also an abundant life on earth. He promises a life full of peace, joy, health and success. People look for life in drugs, clubs, food or material things, but all that is temporary and it doesn’t give life, instead it produces death.

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6 NIV).

Think about it:

If Jesus is the way, the truth and life, who are you consulting with before making important decisions in your life?
