The touch of a legacy

THE TOUCH OF A LEGACY

“Once when some Israelites were burying a man, they spied a band of these raiders. So they hastily threw the corpse into the tomb of Elisha and fled. But as soon as the body touched Elisha’s bones, the dead man revived and jumped to his feet!” (2 Kings 13:21 NLT).

I want to live in such a way that whatever I “touch” and do in life doesn’t end with me when I go to the grave, but it continues even after I die for the benefit of others.

I want my mission to continue when I am no longer on earth. I want Eagles Christian Family Center to keep “touching” people with the love for the souls and that it continues forming successful leaders in the spiritual, family, social and financial life through the supernatural power of God.

Elisha’s anointing was so impregnated in his dead body that the other corpse that was thrown in his grave resurrected when Elisha’s bones “touched” it. In the same way, influence will continue on earth even after death whether it’s for good or evil. Therefore, let’s pursue to live in such a way that our legacy (our bones) serve as a mean that gives life, that restores families, and that inspires others to come out of mediocrity to become successful extraordinary leaders in everything they do for God.

Start now. Be a blessing to people who “touch” your life, add value unto them, inspire them to be better, tell them they are not an accident and help them fulfill God’s purpose for their life. It is through touching the lives of those who are in your world that you can leave behind a legacy of excellence on earth.

“… So they hastily threw the corpse into the tomb of Elisha and fled. But as soon as the body touched Elisha’s bones, the dead man revived and jumped to his feet!” (2 Kings 13:21 NLT).

Think about it:

How are you touching lives?
How do those who surround you feel when you are with them? Are you an encourager? Do you bring life to others?
