Who do you know? Who do you connect with?

WHO DO YOU KNOW?  WHO DO YOU CONNECT WITH?

“… He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring” (Hosea 6:3 NLT).

Oh, if only you knew the Lord! Endeavor to know Him.

While I was at the airport during one of my trips, I saw that some people had certain privileges such as taking their pet dogs with them on their flights due to their health issues; which meant these dogs had been qualified by the “animal assisted educators” or “AAE” to provide emotional support for these kinds of individuals. People who have certain sicknesses obtain a permit that allows them to bring their pet dogs with them in order to maintain their health and minimize their stress and anxiety.

As I reflected on this I thought, if people were to have a more intimate relationship with God they would live with less stress. They don’t need a pet for emotional support, instead they need a close relationship with God, because that is what will help them feel safe, hopeful and secure.

Oh, if only you knew the Lord! We must endeavor to get to know Him.

Other people feel peace, because they have a friend that works in the government, or because they know someone of much influence who has promised to help them with their special needs. Unfortunately, men do not always fulfill their promises, but fortunately you can trust in someone who will answer you as surely as the arrival of dawn.

“… He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring” (Hosea 6:3 NLT).

Think about it:

How can you reduce the stress today in order to feel secure? What does it mean to know God to you? What kind of relationship do you want to have with the Father?
