A FAMILY CULTURE
Thank God that here at Eagles we have formed a family culture where it doesn’t matter if there is church or not because everyone remains connected with each other. Some of us even go on vacation together not because of the ministry, but because we are family.
I could even say that if Dinora and I were to be absent in the church, the church would continue going forward because I know we all have strong lifelong relationships, and because we are a church that depends on God and not on man.
Our people don’t just go to a discipleship to prepare an agenda, but they also make plans to go out and fellowship. Despite that there is no church nor ministry this week, I am sure that some of you will spend time together, because we have formed a family culture.
The Bible says:
Jesus himself said that anyone who does God the Father’s will is who he considers his family. Our lasting and eternal family is our spiritual family. We must take care of each other and give each other time to bond, because this is how we grow and mature in our faith, but also as a family.
I imagine that when Jesus was walking with his disciples and when they would suddenly walk by the beach that he would splash water at them and then act like he didn’t do it. Jesus is fun and if we have a sense of fun in us it is because God Himself is fun.
During this week of focus on the family, enjoy your family and your spiritual family.
