Come into agreement

COME INTO AGREEMENT

“Can two people walk together without agreeing…?” (Amos 3:3 NLT).

Is it possible for two people to be together without agreeing? Of course. Does this mean that both of these people are walking and progressing without agreeing? I don’t think so.

You can be with someone due to the circumstances, but you will not be able to advance, walk, progress, nor be very productive. You need to solve the problems and come into agreement with those people you are with.

Two people can be joined together in marriage, while not enjoying themselves as a couple; they can be together, but they might have pending problems that haven’t been solved, therefore, they do not progress. Two people can be together, without having come into agreement with their goals, thus each of them works by themselves and do not achieve great things. Two people need to come into agreement so that they’re not only “together”, but “walking together”.

At a church, a group of people can be together because of tradition, yet have no impact in their community. However, if they are in agreement with a clear vision, they can transform thousands of families, kids, young people, and adults.

Make sure to surround yourself with people who have the same interests and values as you. Be around people who do not kill your dreams, instead be with individuals who walk together and mutually help each other reach their dreams.

Also, remember that sometimes in order to heal a relationship, it is best to agree to disagree.

“Can two people walk together without agreeing…?” (Amos 3:3 NLT).

Think about it:

In which relationship, do you need to come into agreement to advance God’s plans in your life?

In which area or relationship, do you need to agree to disagree?
