God is the center

GOD IS THE CENTER

“He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together” (Colossians 1:17 NLT).

Who or what is the center of your life? Who or what does your world revolve around?
God must be the center of your worship. He is the One who holds everything under control, including your own life. Nevertheless, there are times when we let our worship or attention be centered on situations or people that are not God.

Perhaps it seems as if the circumstances in your life are out of control, but the reality is that God is still sitting on His throne holding everything under control.

Worship is not about us nor about our world, it is about the Lord and about how everything we are and do revolves around Him. Look at what the Bible says:

“Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel” (Psalm 22:3 NLT).

God, who is holy, has chosen to set His throne in the middle of our praises. When we praise and worship the Father with sincerity and in surrender we are able to come before His throne and whatever we declare in praise that is exactly what happens in our life.

When you praise and say, “God you are bigger than my problem” He responds and says, “Amen!” When you worship and tell Him, “I love you, you are the center of my life”. He replies, “Yes! I love you too and you are also the center of my life”. Do you understand me? Since His throne is established in our praises, when we declare His goodness and our love toward Him, that becomes our reality.

Again I ask, who is the center of your life? In other words, who is the center of your worship? Whatever you worship, that is what you will become and whatever you praise is reflected in your life. I don’t know where you are at in your journey with God, but wherever you are, rest in Him while you praise and worship Him, whether it is with songs or through your actions with your family, at work or school. Just rest making Him the center of your life.

“He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together” (Colossians 1:17 NLT).

Think about it:

Who or what is the center of your life today?
What things have you been speaking or declaring lately?
