How to know why I was born

HOW TO KNOW WHY I WAS BORN

“… The Lord called me before my birth; from within the womb he called me by name” (Isaiah 49:1 NLT).

You are not an accident on earth and neither am I. We were all born with a defined purpose, but we need to evaluate and check if we are operating and living in God’s will and purpose for our lives.

“… The Lord called me before my birth; from within the womb he called me by name” (Isaiah 49:1 NLT).

What are the two signs that tell you that you are in your purpose?

1. Enthusiasm.
“En” means inside and “teos” means God. When you are doing something that God created you to do you feel enthusiastic, happy, it doesn’t bother you to work over-time, you don’t complain, it energizes you, you don’t have to be supervised to make sure the job is well done, because you would do this even if you didn’t get paid.

On the other hand, when you are not in your purpose, you don’t enjoy what you do, you are worn out, you complain, you lament and make excuses, you have to be supervised to make sure you get the job done, and you continuously need to be motivated.

2. Effectiveness.
When you are in your purpose working effectively, while being supported by your strengths, you are naturally fruitful and your labor produces outstanding results.

Jesus said it like this, “by their fruit you will recognize them” (Matthew 7:20 NIV).

God called you before you were born. There is an assignment and a purpose you were born to fulfill, and you are the indicated person to discover that assignment. What are you passionate about? What infuriates you? Whatever it is, it might be your assignment.

Think about it:

How do you know that you are in your purpose?
What are you passionate about… what hurts you? Whatever that may be, that might be your assignment.
