ASK GOD
In the midst of hardships, it is normal to question the injustices you suffer. God does not get bothered when you question Him because He completely understands. In fact, during the darkest hour of our Lord Jesus Christ’s earthly life he asked God, “Why?”.
Direct your difficult questions to God, not men. The danger in asking someone who is bitter and confused a difficult question is that they will give you a bitter and confused answer that will cause you to feel worse than before.
Human beings do not have the answer to our worldly suffering. They do not know God’s purposes behind our hardships or losses. The politicians don’t even know how to solve the evil that has plagued our land, if they knew the cause then they would have solved the human chaos, the wars, and the social inequality.
The Bible says that Jesus Christ directed his questions unto the only One he could trust during the times of his deepest pain. The truth is that when we call unto God He relieves us and above all He gives us an unexplainable peace.
When you learn to direct your questions unto God, you’ll be able to tell others, “I can’t explain how it’s possible to feel peace in the midst of this tragedy in my family, but all I know is that I feel peace and I don’t need drugs nor alcohol to feel it”. That is God’s peace! Learn to direct your questions unto Him and not unto men, because He will reveal the purpose behind the pain you are going through.
Think about it:
What questions do you need to direct unto God?
What place has God taken in your life when you need an answer to your tough problems?
