Discover your goal

DISCOVER YOUR GOAL

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7 NLT).

Some of us have not achieved our goal because we don’t even know what it is. We cannot live on earth just by “going with the flow” and lacking a sense of direction. Apostle Paul said, “I have finished the race”. God also wants us to say, “I have finished the race”.

We are not going to discover our goal by making our own plans based on our own thoughts. Look at what the Bible says:

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9 NLT).

It is only when we align ourselves to the Lord that we can reach the goal He has given us. We cannot run this race of life depending on our thoughts alone, instead we must run this race allowing God’s thoughts to guide us.

“He who embraces too much holds on to little”. How can you discover your goral today? Through prayer. When you pray to God, He helps you target the goal He has given you in life. If you continue to depend on your own thoughts and waste time, you will run the risk of diverting from the Lord’s plans.

God created you and He knows why. Say the following with me, “I am who God says I am, I have what God says I have, I can do what God says I can do, and today I will discover my goal”.

Give yourself the time to pray and plan today. Go ahead and make the necessary adjustments in order to reach the goal God has given you. Never think you are a failure nor useless, for you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. He is not done with you yet.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7 NLT).

Think about it:

What goal do you want to achieve in your life?
What adjustments do you need to make in order to align yourself to God’s direction?
