EXPRESS IT
It is hard to keep everything in your chest when you are suffering, or when you are under a lot of pressure. You need to ventilate your frustration. If you do not do this, then your frustration will come out in different ways. Sooner or later you will explode and express what you’re carrying in the wrong way; you will hurt others, it will cost you your friends, your job, your business, and much more.
Do not let frustration turn into bitterness. Today I want to teach you two healthy ways in which you can express your frustrations.
1. First, express it to God. Be determined to have a daily appointment with the Lord. Do not go to work or school without first bringing peace to your heart in prayer.
2. Whenever you express yourself to other people, do it in a constructive way, do not poison others with your words, always remember the following: It’s not what I say, but how I say it, when I say it, who I say it to, and where I say it.
“Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark” (James 3:5 NIV).
If you internalize your frustrations you will become a time bomb, instead learn to release your stress in a healthy way. Start by telling God how you feel.
