Who are your friends?

WHO ARE YOUR FRIENDS

“Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for ‘bad company corrupts good character’” (1 Corinthians 15:33 NLT).

Have you heard of the following phrases before?
“Tell me who you’re with, and I’ll tell you who you are. Be around wolves and you’ll learn to howl. Be around thieves and you’ll learn to steal. Be around people of faith and you’ll devote your life to winning souls and making disciples”.

Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for ‘bad company corrupts good character’” (1 Corinthians 15:33 NLT).

Your Friends will determine a great part of your success or failure in life. You will become like those who you spend most of your time with. Your way of thinking and acting is influenced by people who surround you constantly. Therefore, your attitude will be negative if you are around negative people who complain, but you will be a winner if you join individuals that have a champion’s attitude.

I have seen and I have heard about people who associate with the wrong crowd, and even though they are bright and talented, they miss the opportunity to be successful and to explode their potential because they simply made friends with the wrong people.

Do not make this mistake! We might be very influential, but eitherway we are all influenced by something or someone in the world, and if we do not watch who we surround ourselves with we are at risk of failing and diverting from God’s purpose for our life.

Be wise and choose who you want to associate with and who you make yourfriends, because these people will determine the level of your success in life.

Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for ‘bad company corrupts good character’” (1 Corinthians 15:33 NLT).

Think about it:

Who are your friends?
What kind of influence are your friends having over you?
