YOUR LOVER IS THE BEST
“Why is your lover better than all others, O woman of rare beauty? What makes your lover so special that we must promise this?” (Song of Solomon 5:9 NLT).
The Church represents the bride and Christ is the loving groom. The question found in this verse is, why is your lover better than all the others? Why is Jesus the best lover who existed and who will ever exist?
1. Because Christ is the only one who loved us unconditionally.
The answer is simple. We love God because He loved us first, because He is love and He loves us with an infinite and unconditional love.
2. Because Christ is the only one who gave his life for our sins.
What Christ did for humanity in love is unique and incomparable. No one in the universe can pay the price that Jesus paid for us because He loved us. He is the most radical and passionate lover in all history, and nobody can top the sacrifice He voluntarily made for you andme because He loved us.
3. Because Christ is the only one who heals, delivers, and fills with us with His Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is the only one who can transform our spiritual, family, social and financial life. Only Christ can heal, deliver, and fill us with His Holy Spirit and radically change our life. There is nothing in this world that can satisfy the human being’s soul like the love of God does. His love is supernatural and it causes unimaginable miracles, achievements, and wonders.
The love of Christ was so powerful that it couldn’t keep Him in the grave, therefore, He overcame death and resurrected on the third day just as He said and soon He will return once again for His Church, because nothing can separate us from the outrageous love He has for us.
