Firm in His grace

FIRM IN HIS GRACE

“… My purpose in writing is to encourage you and assure you that what you are experiencing is truly part of God’s grace for you. Stand firm in this grace” (1 Peter 5:12 NLT).

Grace is the supernatural ability given by God to “be” what in our own human strength we cannot be, and to “do” what in our own human strength we cannot do.

When you say, “Today, I don’t think I’ll get through this” or when you think that a steak of difficulties in your family, job, school, or ministry has come your way and you want to give up, remember this phrase, “Stand firm in God’s grace”.

The world will not give us the grace we need to move forward, many times we won’t receive the grace we need when we most need it, but God will always give us His grace because He knows that without His grace it is impossible to stand firm during the hardships we encounter.

It is when we are in the middle of a rock and a hard place that God’s grace relieves us and assures us that we are not alone. Some of us have a hard time receiving grace, but we must understand that without it we cannot fulfill God’s great purpose for our life.

It is incredible to know that some people think they can leave their homes without first praying and coming into agreement with the Holy Spirit and His grace. Life cannot be lived without His grace. It doesn’t matter how self-sufficient we might be, we cannot afford to be independent of God.

We all need His grace and we need to learn to give grace to others just as we have received it. Restoreyour strength as you remember that you don’t need to be nor do anything in your own strength, because the Lord’s grace gives you the ability to supernaturally be and do what you cannot be and do in your own human strength. You are not alone, God is in this with you.

“… My purpose in writing is to encourage you and assure you that what you are experiencing is truly part of God’s grace for you. Stand firm in this grace” (1 Peter 5:12 NLT).

Think about it:

Have you been living in God’s grace or in your own strength?
Who can you give a little grace to today?
