GOOD RELATIONSHIPS
In life, we go through many difficulties and struggles that test our character, however, these struggles can also discourage us. Therefore, it is essential to have trustworthy people in our life that can strengthen us during the process.
Today I am going to mention some benefits that we obtain when we have healthy relationships in life.
1.Good relationships remain trustworthy despite the difficulties.
It is very hard to find trustworthy people in this world, and unfortunately, we are all at the risk of being betrayed by someone we trust.
Nevertheless, we must allow ourselves to be vulnerable and to understand that though we are not perfect, we still need each other.
2. Strong relationships remain proud despite the problems.
We were not created to be lone rangers. God wired us to form strong relationships with each other so that we could feel valuable and important to one another.
There are people who feel ashamed and lonely because they do not have friendsnor family that they can trust. God feels proud to be seen with us and to be on our side. In the same way, let’s make friends with those who are distant and help them feel proud of having a good friend like you on their side.
3. Healthy relationships bring relief despite the suffering.
Oh, how we suffer in this world! The pain we experience will not cease as long as we are on earth, but how relieving it is to know that we do not sufferalone, because we have loved ones who feel the same pain with us and who push us to get back up when we fall.
4. Covenant relationships bring happiness despite the circumstances.
The happiness that God gives us does not depend on our circumstances. There are times when we go through problems that are so big that not even God nor our loved ones can cheer us up.
However, there is power in covenant relationships, in other words, there is power in relationships that are true. It doesn’t matter if it rains or if there’slightening, these kinds of relationships produce a happiness and a sincere love that is stronger than the circumstances.
Do not go through life on your own, remember that you were created to be part of a family and to have good relationships that bring value to you and your life. I encourage you to be a good friend to someone today and to renew your relationship with others.
Think about it:
Do you have friends? Who are your friends?
What kind of relationships do you have?
