It’s okay to wait

IT’S OKAY TO WAIT

“I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him” (Psalm 62:1 NLT).

It’s okay to wait when you do not know what to say nor what to do. It is not the end of the world to be in a place where you don’t know what.

Todo, because when you don’t know what to do nor what to say, you make way for God to do what you cannot do.

Today, I am going to share what I do when I don’t know what to do nor what to say, and I am also going to share what I do when I feel threatened in life.

1.When I don’t know what to do, I wait and don’t do anything. I know that the Lord will give me direction in prayer.

The Bible advises us to do the following:

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth” (Psalm 46:10 NIV).

What do I mean by not doing anything? I mean that I stay still, and waiton God’s direction. I do not take action until He gives me the peace to do so. I don’t get desperate, because I know He will speak at the right time, I trust Him.

2. When I don’t know what to say, I wait silently before God. Then, I read His Word and find the wisdom to speak.

Have you ever felt like you just don’t know what to say? If you don’t have any more words to say, then that is a good opportunity to listen to God. Sometimes we forget that God is a person, and as much as it fascinates Him to hear our voice, He also desires to speak to our heart.

Whenever you want to hear His voice, stay quiet and read His Word, and I guarantee that He will give you wisdom.

3. When I feel threatened I find refuge in God.

“He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken” (Psalm 62:2 NLT).

We will be threatened in lifeinmany different ways, whether it is by the economy, the law, someone or a circumstance. However, God the Father will always be a safe and unshakeable refuge for us.

Build your life on the Rock who is the Heavenly Father, and no matter what happens, you will not be shaken!

“I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him” (Psalm 62:1 NLT).

Think about it:

In what area do you need to wait a little longer until you see God’s hand move?
What don’t you still know how to do? What don’t you still know how to say?
