WE DON’T FIGHT LIKE HUMANS
We are humans, but we do not wage war as humans do. The average person wastes their time fighting with someone else in the street because they cut them off while driving. However, the one who has mental maturity will not waste their time.
We know very well that violence never solves violence. Therefore, the Bible teaches us to reach mental toughness by taking our thoughts captive in obedience to the Lord.
When we are going through challenges in life we use God’s powerful weapons, not the worlds, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. Yes, we are human beings, but we cannot fight like human beings.
The real battle is not between good and evil, instead it is between the truth and the lies. If we learn to capture every thought that goes against God’s will, then we will reach mental maturity and we will not be confused nor deceived by the enemy’s lies.
There are many theories and ideas in the world that make us fight the wrong way, and the reason we do this is because we haven’t learned to read the Bible well. God doesn’t want us to fight against each other, that’s the devil’s objective, God wants us to learn to love one another and overcome the lies with the truth in His Word.
When we are going through a problem with someone, we must identify the root of the problem and attack the problem, not the person. People in their humanity will do the opposite, that is why the Heavenly Father teaches us to watch our thoughts and think wisely.
We are human beings, but we do not fight like human beings. Let’s cast out every violent thought that goes against God’s heart and think of obeying Christ in all our actions.
Think about it:
How have you been fighting lately?
What kind of thoughts have you been having?
What do you need to do to think clearly?
