God does want to

GOD DOES WANT TO

“Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy” (Matthew 8:3 NIV).

The Bible narrates that there was a man with leprosy who had a putrefaction in his skin, which caused him to be taken out of society, so that he wouldn’t contaminate other people. This man told the Lord while he was in great desperation, “…Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean” (Matthew 8:2 NKJV).

Do you think that Jesus wanted to cleanse him? Look at what it continues to say,Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing (I want to); be cleansed.’ Immediately his leprosy was cleansed” (Matthew 8:3 NKJV).Jesus told him these key words, “I want to”.

Many times, we pray for healing, with our words we say “we want to” be healed, but there is doubt in our heart. Have you ever wanted something so bad that you were willing to do anything to have what you wanted? When we really want something, there is no room for doubt.

God wants to heal every sickness and pain, but he wants to do it based on his supernatural love. God’s love is the engine that pushes Him to want to heal. All you need to have is a faith that says, “I want to”, then you will receive your miracle.

When Jesus found himself with a blind man named Bartimaeus, the Word says that He cried out saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” (Mark 10:47 NKJV).The people silenced him by demanding that he stop bothering Jesus, but Jesus was moved to answer his cry, “Jesus answered and said to him, ‘What do you want Me to do for you?’ The blind man said to Him, ‘Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.’ Then Jesus said to him, ‘Go your way; your faith has made you well’” (Mark 10:51-52 NKJV).

You see, Jesus is merciful, and he wants to heal you. All you need to do is have faith and believe that God’s love for you is greater than what you’re going through. Your problem wasn’t meant to separate you from God, it was meant to draw you closer to Him. Trust in the Lord.

Think about it:

What does God want to do in your life right now?
What is stopping you from believing God wants to give you a miracle?
What do you need to do to receive what you have been expecting?
