A leader loves the people

A LEADER LOVES THE PEOPLE

“In this way, Aaron will carry the names of the tribes of Israel on the sacred chest piece over his heart when he goes into the Holy Place. This will be a continual reminder that he represents the people when he comes before the Lord” (Exodus 28:29 NLT)

Leaders must have people close to their heart. Being a leader is a privilege.

Asleaders we must have correct motives in our hearts. We must love what we do, but we must also love those who we do it for.
We should not seek our own glory, rather the benefit of the people.

Being a leader at work, school or church is a privilege. We are not here to be served, but to serve others.

Always value the people over things and titles. We should always hold the people close to our hearts and reflect Christ in all we do.

“In this way, Aaron will carry the names of the tribes of Israel on the sacred chest piece over his heart when he goes into the Holy Place. This will be a continual reminder that he represents the people when he comes before the Lord” (Exodus 28:29 NLT)

Think about it:

Who has the Lord given you the privilege of leading? Why do you do what you do in that privilege? If the “Title” was removed from you, would you continue serving the people the same way?
