Benefits of the fear of God

BENEFITS OF THE FEAR OF GOD

“Then you will know that the LORD makes a distinction between the Egyptians and the Israelites”. (Exodus 11:7 NLT).

God makes a distinction between those who fear and those who don’t.
All people are creation of God, but not all people are blessed by God. He will bless those who fear him, those who decide to walk according to his word, instead of living according to the atheistic and liberal philosophies in which they gradually move away from the concept of God.

Those of us who keep serving the Lord will see a distinction between the groups that reject God and those that serve.

“I will make a clear distinction between my people and your people. This miraculous sign will happen tomorrow. » (Exodus 8:23 NLT).

While the world suffers destruction in abundance, those who serve God will rejoice in the abundance of peace.

“It left all of Egypt in ruins. The hail struck down everything in the open field—people, animals, and plants alike. Even the trees were destroyed.26 The only place without hail was the region of Goshen, where the people of Israel live” (Exodus 9:25-26 NLT).

While society suffers more and more from spiritual and family darkness, those of us who fear God will have light and not darkness.

….So Moses lifted his hand to the sky, and a deep darkness covered the entire land of Egypt for three days.  During all that time the people could not see each other, and no one moved. But there was light as usual where the people of Israel lived. (Exodus 10:22 NLT).

In the world, there is much regret, tragedy, terrorism, poverty, tornadoes, diseases, wars, etc., but the Lord keeps us, his people.

“Then a loud wail will rise throughout the land of Egypt, a wail like no one has heard before or will ever hear again. But among the Israelites, it will be so peaceful that not even a dog will bark. Then you will know that the LORD makes a distinction between the Egyptians and the Israelites.” (Exodus 11:6-7).

Think about it:

How is your life in relation to the fear of God? What changes do you have to make to align yourself with God’s will? What gifts has God given you to serve Him?
