God rewards persistency

GOD REWARDS PERSISTENCY

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9 NIV).

It is not easy to draw people close to God, it isn’t easy to follow the Lord, but it is only in these ways that our faith can be tested. Your faith is tested through persistency. Many say they have faith, but when the difficulties and challenges come, their faith weakens. However, when we are persistent in our faith and we don’t give in to doubt, then our faith grows.

The Bible says that God rewards persistency. What does persistency mean? It means to not give up in the race of life. There are so many things we go through that cause us to get tired. The truth is that you’re not the only one who feels that way, everybody feels that way, and that is why it is necessary to persist in faith—it’s what makes us move forward.

Where would I be if someone wouldn’t have persisted in helping me get close to God? Where would I be if someone wouldn’t have had faith in me? As people, we are not easy to deal with. Many times, we reject God’s help when He sends someone to reach out to us. We are so tired of the race of life that we lose our faith.

I don’t know if you have stopped persisting because you feel tired. God is reminding you that He is your strength and that He is ready to reward you, if you don’t give up. You don’t have to struggle on your own to bring your family and friends closer to Christ. Accept the help God is sending you through your spiritual family.

Take hold of God’s hand when He reaches out in prayer. Accept God’s hand as He’s reaching out through this message and persist in faith as your hold on to God’s hand. Today, I encourage you to rejuvenate your faith and that you share it with others as you persist and don’t give up. God has rewards for you!

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9 NIV).

Think about it:

On a scale of 1 to 10, how is your persistency?
What hand is God lending you that you still haven’t wanted to accept?
