THE ACCURACY OF GOD
The Lord kept his word and did for Sarah exactly what he had promised.
(Genesis 21:1 NLT).
God is precise and exact. God fulfills what he says.
Although sometimes time seems to pass, and we think that God’s promises may not be fulfilled, we must remember that God fulfills what He says. He is not in a hurry. For him it’s never too late.
In the Bible there are more than 8,000 promises from God for your children. If you are obedient to God, then take hold of them, believe that he will fulfill them and believe that he will fulfill his purpose in you. For every situation you face there is a promise from God for your life. If you are suffering from illness, he says to you: “by his wounds you were healed” if you are going through an economic need, he says to you: “My God will supply for all my needs according to his riches in Glory”, etc. God always arrives on time, do not doubt what he has promised you, he will fulfill.
Note all expressions of accuracy in the following passage:
“The Lord kept his word and did for Sarah exactly what he had promised. She became pregnant, and she gave birth to a son for Abraham in his old age. This happened at just the time God had said it would. And Abraham named their son Isaac. Eight days after Isaac was born, Abraham circumcised him as God had commanded. Abraham was 100 years old when Isaac was born.” (Genesis 21:1-5 NLT).
Think about it:
What promises has God made you?
What promises did you think God forgot about?
What promise are you needing for a difficult situation you’re going through?
