WE ARE BETTER AS A TEAM
Today, I want to speak to you about the importance of team building. When I speak about teams, I am referring to collaboration, cooperation, and unity. Teamwork is to do something together to help someone or to accomplish a project.
God’s vision for this world is too big to accomplish with one person. A united team is needed to fulfill big projects. A team is needed to fulfill the mission of Jesus Christ.
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19 NLT).
The Bible tells us that some friends came together as a team to help a man who was paralyzed. All together they carried the body of this man to take him before Jesus, but since the house was packed with visitors, they decided to dig a hole through the roof where Jesus was preaching so that the paralytic man would receive his healing.
Wow! That’s tremendous teamwork! Imagine a man who is kind of heavy on top of a roof coming down through a hole dug on a roof in front of Jesus. How did they bring him down? I don’t know. But I do know that they did it as a team to help their friend.
Many times, we want to do things by ourselves, but when we do this we are unable to achieve more significant projects. We are more successful when we work as a team, whether it is evangelizing a community or reaching a personal or collective goal.
God’s desire is twin soul, and His heart’s desire can only be met if we work as a team. There are many people on earth, in fact, there are some people you won’t be able to reach, but someone else will. Bottom line, you need to be part of a team, you were not made to be a lone ranger.
It is important to work as a team if we want to win the world over for Christ if we want to fulfill our personal goals and greater projects. Join a small group in your church and in this way, you will do better in everything you do.
Think about it:
What things do you believe you can achieve if you are part of a team?
How can you become part of a small group in your church?
