It’s better to keep my mouth shut

IT’S BETTER TO KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT

«Do you still want to argue with the Almighty?
You are God’s critic, but do you have the answers?». (Job 40:2 NLT).

Have you ever felt like complaining to God for things that haven’t gone well in your life? It’s happened to me from time to time. Not very often, but I’ve had those moments.

But, I’ve noticed that after fighting with my emotions, after processing my sorrows, my anger or disappointment, in the end, exhausted and tired without finding human and logical answers, I return to surrender to God. I return to rest in Him. After a failure I reflect and come to the same conclusion: God is still God.
I’d rather keep my mouth shut and continue trusting in him without caring what happens, God is God.

“I am nothing—how could I ever find the answers?I will cover my mouth with my hand.I have said too much already. I have nothing more to say.”»
(Job 40:3-5 NLT).

Think about it:

What do you need to surrender to God, so you don’t continue fighting with him for things you don’t understand?
Do you think it was worth fighting or questioning God? Reflect on this, and don’t stop trusting in God.
