Service or waste?

SERVICE OR WASTE?

…She broke open the jar and poured the perfume over his head. 4 Some of those at the table were indignant. “Why waste such expensive perfume?” they asked (Mark 14:3-4 NLT).

There are always people who misinterpret service as waste.
There will always be mediocre people who question excellence, who do not dream big, who don’t want to try hard or lose their commodity, people who limit their service to God, always give their leftovers and waste, only serve God when they are pressured by guilt, don’t have big dreams, and who don’t like to alter their routine.

These are the ones that don’t reach big things, easily pass to oblivion; but there are others that go down in history.

On the other hand, there will also be people who give their best, willing to go the extra mile, willing to do big things, make sacrifices that others do not want to make, leave their comfort zone, serve when others prefer to rest, wear themselves out while others scratch their bellies, They give their time, resources, strength, and prayers extravagantly. These are also those who will receive rewards, those who pass into the hall of faith and are captured in the history of humanity.

She has done what she could and has anointed my body for burial ahead of time. 9 I tell you the truth, wherever the Good News is preached throughout the world, this woman’s deed will be remembered and discussed.” (Mark 14:8-9 NLT).

Think about it:

Will what you’ve done be remembered? Do you want what you do to be service or waste? What line do you have to cross to reach greater things?
