THE TWELVE APOSTLES OF BAD HEALTH
This day I would like to share with you something I read in a book a couple of months ago, but I think it’s great and it will make us reflect a lot.
“I know that there are certain mental, emotional, moral and spiritual attitudes that harm our health: Anger, resentment, fear, worry, the desire to dominate, egoism, feelings of guilt, sexual impurity, jealousy, lack of creative activity, the inferiority complexes and the lack of love.
These are the twelve apostles of bad health. In prayer I have learned to go and deliver those things to Jesus Christ as they appear.
Once I asked Dr. Kagawa: “What is prayer?”; And he answered me: “Prayer is the giving of oneself”. I agree: To pray is primarily to surrender without conditions”. (E. Stanley Jones).
Think about it:
What apostles of bad health are in your heart and are they affecting the health of the other areas of your life, like the spiritual, family, physical, and ministerial?
What apostles of bad health do you need to surrender to God?
