We are the salt

WE ARE THE SALT

“Salt is good for seasoning. But if it loses its flavor, how do you make it salty again? You must have the qualities of salt among yourselves and live in peace with each other”. (Mark 9:50 NLT).

Salt serves to preserve food for a long time.
Salt serves to flavor food.

We are also like salt in this world because we help to preserve biblical values, so that the world does not become ruthless and governed only by the forces of hell, violence, hatred, bitterness, etc.
The Church is an instrument in the hands of God to bring peace to our cities.

“And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.”
(Jeremiah 29:7 NLT).

“Salt is good for seasoning. But if it loses its flavor, how do you make it salty again? You must have the qualities of salt among yourselves and live in peace with each other”. (Mark 9:50 NLT)

Think about it:

What could you do this week to bring peace and blessing to a family in need of God?
What situation in your life has caused you to start losing your flavor?
What are you going to do to recover that flavor and be able to start fulfilling God’s purpose in your life?
