WHAT ARE SPIRITUAL WEAPONS FOR?
“We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.” (2 Corinthians 10:3-4 NLT)
What are spiritual weapons used for in God?
- We undo mental limits that have been developed by reasoning and human logic that prevents belief in the supernatural and see miracles.
- Mental lies are destroyed, as well as false arguments.
- They overcome the human arrogance that prevents people from surrendering to God.
- We capture the rebellious thoughts. We understand that it is not about what others think, or about what I think, but about what God thinks and says.
- We develop obedience to God and therefore our quality of life improves, the quality of life of the Church improves, and the quality of life of a city also improves.
“We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5 NLT).

Against whom or what were you fighting in your own strength? What weapons do you think are most effective in winning a battle or problem in your family? Fighting with your arguments or fighting with prayer and fasting? What weapons has God given you to win your battles?
