I WANT TO GIVE GOOD NEWS
Part 2
Soon after, Jesus began a tour of nearby cities and villages, preaching and announcing the Good News about the kingdom of God. He took his twelve disciples with him. (Luke 8: 1 NLT)
I see four things in this passage. Yesterday I shared two of them and today three more:
3. He wasn’t alone.
The human being was not designed to live in isolation. Jesus had a small group of men with whom he prayed, preached and helped them grow.
We all need to be part of a small group of trusted people, with whom we can grow together, support and correct each other.
… He took his twelve disciples with him. (Luke 8: 1 NLT)
along with some women who had been healed of evil spirits and diseases. Among them was Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast seven demons. (Luke 8: 2 NLT)
4. Jesus recognized the importance and ability of women.
He dignified the role of women in the home, but also in society and in the ministry.
we shouldn’t make exceptions we should treat each other with dignity and respect equally.
Soon after, Jesus began a tour of nearby cities and villages, preaching and announcing the Good News about the kingdom of God. He took his twelve disciples with him. (Luke 8: 1 NLT)
Let’s learn about Jesus and not isolate ourselves. Let’s join a small group and pray for each other so that God will help us grow spiritually and fulfill our purpose on this earth.
Think about it:
Are you already part of a small group?
Have you thought about a mentor you can follow to continue growing?
Knowing that God makes no exceptions, What will you get involved in to serve the Lord this year?
